Teaching, technology, reflection, and growth.
Welcome! I am Alexis Flanders, an elementary educator, mathematics enthusiast, and lifelong learner with a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences. Through my work in the classroom and my studies in Michigan State University’s Master of Arts in Educational Technology program (MAET), I have explored how thoughtful design, reflection, and technology can support student growth and engagement.
Teaching has taught me that growth rarely happens in a straight line. It comes through trying, reflecting, revising, and trying again. As an elementary educator and MAET graduate student, I am continually exploring how technology, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences can support student success. This portfolio shares that journey and the work that has shaped it.
Thoughts, questions, and insights from my graduate studies and classroom experiences.
